Large Animal Medical Center

The Large Animal Medical Center (total floor area of 1,463 square meters) is based in two-story building freshly renovated after its previous use as an animal hospital. With cattle as the main focus of the large animals we cater for, this remodeling involved an expansion of hospital facilities, necropsy and pathology rooms, and isolation rooms, as measures against communicable disease. As a core animal hospital in one of the foremost regions of Japan for the livestock industry, we contribute to production animal health and husbandry, to assuring the quality of the food produced from those animals, and to preventing the spread of any zoonotic infections.

Dedicated bovine center
